Photoshop Poster

Information: You have read the story of Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving in your Language Arts class.

In this project you will create a poster based on the story. You will be like Rip Van Winkle.
Instead of the Kaatskill Mountains of New York, you will be up in the mountains of Colorado.
What will your life be like? What will the world look like 20 years from now.

Directions:

• Create a poster about the world 20 years from now.
• Include pictures about changes in the world
• Include important events, moments or occasions that have changed the world
• Use text, headlines and banners

Specifics:

• Write a well constructed paragraph that tells us how the world has changed in 20 years.
• Discuss 3 different areas where the world has changed. For example you could mention space travel or cell phones.
• Include lots of details and adjectives that describe the change.
